PLASTER MOULDS PREPARATION

The process of making plaster moulds has a  great importance in determining the quality of ceramic products. For this, B&T WHITE realizes automatic plants for the preparation of the plaster, which guarantee precision in the dosage, maintaining of the vacuum during mixing and repeatability of the process.

The use of high quality materials and finishing treatments specific for all major components of the system increases product life and reliability of the production process.

To this was flanked simplicity in the management and scheduling of work sequences, through an electrical switchboard reliable and intuitive.

  • PLASTER MOULDS CHAMBER DRYER

    • Driers for plaster moulds B&T WHITE combine high productivity and lower operating costs by reducing cycle times and savings in terms of maintenance and space. The real-time monitoring of the drying curve, the air temperature and humidity, combined drying uniform within the chamber ensure high quality of the mould and then the finished product. The high performance of the dryer is given by the simultaneous control of the following factors:
      • Curve of temperature control
      • Curve of humidity control
      • Curve of  air speed control

      CURVE OF TEMPERATURE CONTROL

      The temperature of the air that surrounds the pieces is the main factor to enable the transfer of thermal energy inside the pieces and makes the water molecules contained in the piece come out. The larger is the heat flux entering in the pieces, the greater will be the amount of water that can be extracted quickly from the pieces. In addition, the temperature allows to provide the thermal energy needed to evaporate water from the surface of the pieces.

      The temperature curve can be set on the operator panel installed in the control cabinet.

      CURVE OF HUMIDITY CONTROL

      Associated to the curve of the temperature, the humidity curve determines the speed of evaporation of water from the pieces. Varying temperature and humidity, it is possible to vary the evaporation pressure between the piece surface and the air where the body is immersed.

      DRYING CONTROL

      The flexibility of the control system of the dryer allows the user to plan and carry out drying cycles dedicated to the production underway. Programming allows the continuous monitoring of the working cycle and of the drying data. Moreover, this system gives the possibility to modify the cycle even during the drying working.
